Metzneria tenuiella (Mann, 1864) (from Aude) and Metzneria tristella Rebel, 1901 (from Bouches-du-Rhone) are newly recorded for France. The host-plant of M. tristella is Cheirolophus intybaceus (Lam.) Dost. The female genitalia of M. tristella are described. Metzneria staehelinella Englert, 1974 is recorded from Aude (France)5 fig.
