Some observations of the Corsican Swallowtail (Papilio hospiton GENE, 1839) are described. The Butter-fly occurred at 700-900m on Corsica both at the end of May till the beginning of June and again at the beginning of August. At the beginning of June fresh emerged and worn specimen had been seen and as well at the beginning of August with also egg-lying females, L1-larvae and adult larvae. Thus we assume that in medium elevation of 700-900 m the species bivoltin occurs. Probably even three generations could be expected in climatically good years
