Dichrorampha tarmanni sp. n. is described from the southwestern Alps (Italy, Switzerland), based on characteristics of the male and female genitalia as well as the adult. The new species was hitherto misidentified with D. alpigenana HEINEMANN, 1863 from the eastern Alps and the Balkans which differs both in genitalia structures and particularly in external appearance. Important structures of both taxa are illustrated. 2 photos coul., 8 photos N&B genitalia.
