- A four year study of moths (Heterocera) from 1999 to 2003 in Loire-Atlantique (44) and Vendee (85) has made possible to identify more than 820 taxa (Drouet & Favretto, 2004). Between 2004 and 2005, the scope of the study was extended to part of Maine-et-Loire (49) and Morbihan (56). The number of taxa recorded in these four departments amounts at present to 907 in Loire-Atlantique, 817 in Vendee, 612 in Maine-et-Loire and 380 in Morbihan. 47 new species of Macroheterocera, compared with 2003, notably Coenophila subrosea, Xestia triangulum, Parastichtis suspecta, Senta flammea, Agrochola blidaensis, Perizoma lugdunaria, Eupithecia tantillaria, Selidosema taeniolaria, Notodonta torva, are listed in this note
