March 2012: a record number of premature eclosions in the north-east of France (Lepidoptera Rhopalocera). Over 35 years of study of the Butterflies of the departement of the Haute-Saone (Franche-Comte), the Cote-d'Or and the Saone-et-Loire (Burgundy), the spring of 2012 holds the record. During the month of March, 24 species of Butterflies were observed. This contrasts with earlier years when five to ten species was the norm
