Résumé :
A summary is provided of our knowledge of the noctuid moth, Agrotis chretieni (Dumont, 1903), including its currently known distribution in France, Spain and Portugal, and its phenology. After five rearing attempts, three of which resulted in adult moths, the conditions considered to be acceptable for the successful observation of the complete cycle are detailed. Difficulties arising in these rearings are discussed and solutions proposed to ensure success. Finally, the most comprehensive photographic gallery of this species, from egg to imago, is presented.
